I'm thinking that Wee Willie Willard has the right idea today:
That's right--finding a warm patch of sun on a hardwood floor, and just basking in it. I must confess, I'm a little tired today--I think a nap is in order! But in the meantime, I'm going to share with you my latest favorite obsession: the easiest and yummiest chocolate cake you've ever, ever put in your little cake hole! Here's what I love about this recipe: you just dump all of the ingredients together, using a CAKE MIX, and you don't even have to use a mixer! In fact, my mom, who is, shall we say, PICKY, made this cake for a Super Bowl party a few days back and said it was a huge hit! Nobody will ever know you've used a store-bought mix in this dessert, and you shall soon be very famous for your creation--I promise!
Here's the ingredients you're going to use (recipe follows):
Get out a nice big mixing bowl, dump all of your ingredients in together, and get to mixing! I just love using my pretty mustard yellow and red mixing bowls, and happily find any excuse to do so:
Pour the whole mess into a well greased bundt pan, and bake:
Let cool and invert bundt pan onto a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and you're done! I served mine drizzled with chocolate sauce, with a few red raspberries on the side for garnish--be creative!:
So chocolatey! So rich! So perfect for a Valentine's Day dessert! Enjoy.

TOP 3 THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1. I'm grateful that I took a nice 45 minute walk with my dear girlfriends Sharon and Leslie--the snow was very beautiful!
2. I'm grateful for my fun evening with the Northwood's Women's Club ladies--showed them all how to make some fancy Valentine's Heart Shaped Linzer cookies. Look for that recipe, right before Valentine's day!
3. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help judge our town's cookie contest tonite at the library. That's right--nothing but sugar for suppah, sistahs!
